Israel, Lebanon extend ceasefire even as strikes continue

A U.S.-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been extended for an additional 45 days. Israeli and Lebanese delegations will reconvene in early June to discuss lasting peace, mutual recognition, and security along the border. The Pentagon will host talks with military delegations from both countries on May 29th.
