Israel kills at least six in fresh strike on Lebanon after ceasefire extension agreed

Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a 45-day extension of a ceasefire, brokered by the US, following discussions held in Washington. This extension comes after Israeli air attacks on Lebanon and a ceasefire declared by US President Trump on April 16th. Despite the extension, continued civilian casualties in southern Lebanon remain a concern.
