US President Trump announced that he will soon decide on lifting sanctions on Chinese oil companies buying Iranian oil. Recently, the US sanctioned several independent oil refineries buying Iranian oil, including China’s Hengli Petrochemical refinery. Trump stated that Xi Jinping supported opening the Strait of Hormuz.
