Oil spill in Gulf likely caused by tanker dump, Iran says

Iran has determined that the oil spill in the Gulf was caused by a foreign tanker dumping ballast water, not a leak from Iranian oil facilities. This follows recent U.S.-Iran conflict and the observation of a large oil slick covering a significant area near Kharg Island.
