Pakistan formulating energy security policy after Hormuz-linked oil and gas disruptions

Pakistan is formulating an energy security policy following disruptions to oil and gas supplies caused by tensions around the Strait of Hormuz. The closure of the Strait due to the conflict in Iran led to Pakistan securing LNG cargoes from Qatar. Pakistan intends to continue close coordination with Qatar to ensure stable LNG supplies and expand future energy cooperation.
