Japan Defense Chief Urges Coordination with U.S. on Hormuz Security

Japanese Defense Minister emphasized the importance of close coordination with the United States regarding security in the Strait of Hormuz, amid the US-Iran conflict which has effectively closed the waterway. He highlighted the need to restore stability and ensure the free navigation of vessels. Japan stated it has not decided on deploying its Self-Defense Forces.
