Trump lands in China ahead of high-stakes talks with Xi on trade, Iran, and Taiwan

President Trump is visiting China to meet with President Xi Jinping to discuss trade, the Iran conflict, and Taiwan. China remains Iran’s largest trading partner, and Trump intends to discuss Beijing’s ‘relatively good’ stance on the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports. The possibility of a trilateral nuclear arms agreement between the United States, China, and Russia is also expected to be discussed.
