The U.S. Department of Defense is planning to procure 10,000 low-cost cruise missiles in the next three years to replenish weapons stockpiles depleted during the conflict with Iran. Utilizing a containerized delivery system and significantly reduced per-unit costs, this initiative aims to enhance cost-effectiveness and bolster U.S. offensive capabilities. This will partially offset the role of the Tomahawk missiles.
