Lithuania will join the maritime security mission in the Strait of Hormuz

Lithuania plans to participate in an international mission to ensure safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The State Defense Council has approved Lithuania’s participation, with up to 40 military personnel and civilian experts potentially deployed. Lithuania will also provide logistical support and allow the use of its military infrastructure.
