Middle East airports are experiencing operational challenges due to geopolitical conflict disrupting air transport in the Asia-Pacific region. Over a two-month period until May 2026, nine airports handled 324 million passengers, representing 70% of the total passenger traffic in the Middle East in 2025. This disruption has resulted in an estimated revenue shortfall of $900 million to $1 billion.
