Emirates remains world’s most profitable airline despite Middle East crisis

Despite disruptions caused by the Israel-US war on Iran, Emirates remained the most profitable airline globally for the 2025-26 fiscal year. Regional military activity significantly impacted air traffic, but cargo operations and strong performance in the first 11 months of the year partially mitigated the effects. Emirates managed to maintain operations despite reduced passenger capacity and effective fuel hedging.
