Qatar: Iran Should Not Use the Strait of Hormuz to “Blackmail” Gulf States

Qatari Foreign Minister stated that Iran should not use the Strait of Hormuz to pressure or blackmail Gulf countries. Turkish Foreign Minister supported efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and warned against its use as a weapon during the Iran-US conflict. Turkey is contributing to Pakistan-led efforts to negotiate an end to the conflict.
