Global aviation grows in Q1, despite Middle East conflict

Global airline passenger capacity increased by 2.4% year-on-year in Q1 2026 despite disruption in the Middle East. Middle Eastern capacity fell sharply by 14%, while other regions saw stronger growth. Domestic travel continued to underpin overall recovery.
