Israeli strikes in Lebanon resulted in 16 deaths and injuries, amid mounting pressure on the ongoing ceasefire. Despite the ceasefire in place since April 17, Israeli attacks and exchanges of fire with Hezbollah continue. The United States is hosting peace talks between Israel and Lebanon next week.
