Iran accuses US of “clear violation” of ceasefire after tanker attacks

Iran accused the United States of violating a ceasefire agreement after attacks on Iranian oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz and coastal areas. The ministry stated that US forces targeted two Iranian oil tankers near the port of Jask and the Strait of Hormuz, as well as several coastal areas overlooking the waterway. Iran responded with a ‘powerful response’ and alerted the UN Security Council.
