Amidst the Strait of Hormuz blockade, South Korea has initiated the first shipment of crude oil via the Red Sea route. An SK Shipping vessel arrived in Yeosu, carrying approximately 200,000 barrels of oil, marking a shift in Korea's energy supply strategy. Another vessel is expected to dock in Daesan soon.
