Following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, oil tankers are continuing to transport oil to Korea via the Red Sea. This is the third tanker to have safely passed through the Red Sea, and is expected to deliver 2 million barrels of oil to Korea within 2-3 weeks. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries is providing 24-hour monitoring and support to ensure the safety of the ships and crew.
