Thailand approves major borrowing package to cushion impact of Middle East conflict

Thailand approved a 12.2 billion USD emergency borrowing package to mitigate the economic impacts of the Middle East conflict. The funds will be used to boost domestic spending, address inflation, and support low-income populations. Part of the funds will also be directed towards renewable energy.
