Pete Hegseth insists Iran ceasefire still holding despite skirmishes

Despite skirmishes between Iran and the U.S., Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth insisted the ceasefire is holding. Iranian parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the U.S. of undermining the truce by attempting to end Iran’s control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. military reported successful transit of merchant ships through the strait and sinking of Iranian boats.
