Dubai Airports to 'scale up operations' as UAE airspace restrictions lifted

Following the lifting of UAE airspace restrictions, Dubai Airports is scaling up operations to facilitate the progressive restoration of flight schedules. The airport has handled 6 million passengers and over 32,000 aircraft movements since February, amidst the ongoing US-Iran conflict. Passenger traffic in Q1 2026 decreased by 20.6% compared to the previous year.
