Arab interests must define resolution of Strait of Hormuz crisis

The Strait of Hormuz crisis is a result of Iran’s long-term strategic leverage, using the waterway as a pressure tool. Arab states are key stakeholders directly affected by disruptions, and their interests must be central to any resolution. Serious diplomatic efforts require the inclusion of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
