Iran says any US plan for Hormuz Strait would be ceasefire violation

Iran rejected Washington’s proposed role in managing the Strait of Hormuz, deeming it a violation of the ceasefire. Trump announced the US would guide ships stranded in the waterway out of restricted areas as a ‘humanitarian gesture.’ The US will provide military support to ‘Project Freedom’ to restore freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
