Trump Broadens Cuba Sanctions to Cover Nearly All Sectors of Economy

The US expanded sanctions to cover nearly all sectors of the Cuban economy, including energy, defense, metals and mining, financial services, and security. Specifically, sanctions are being strengthened against government officials and institutions involved in corruption and human rights abuses, and third-country companies and individuals are also included.
