Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel condemned the latest sanctions imposed by the Trump administration, questioning how long the world will continue to tolerate what he considered to be an abusive collective punishment by the U.S. administration. The sanctions target Cuba and anyone trading with it. Concerns have also been raised regarding U.S. Steel’s Clairton Coke Works explosion and the plant’s operator’s investment decisions.
