Israeli strikes kill at least 17 more in south Lebanon despite ceasefire

Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon resulted in at least 17 additional deaths and injuries, despite a temporary ceasefire. Israel has been conducting an offensive in Lebanon since March 2nd in response to Hezbollah's retaliation during the Iran war, with over 2,600 people killed and more than 1 million displaced. Despite the extended ceasefire, Israel continues to violate it through ongoing air strikes and home demolitions.
