Iraq is struggling with oil exports due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and is seeking alternative export routes. It is currently exporting approximately 200,000 barrels of oil through the Ceyhan port and is pursuing the construction of new pipelines. The Border Ports Authority has opened alternative trade routes to stabilize exports and imports and domestic prices.
