In response to energy market instability caused by the Middle East conflict, the South Korean government is strengthening energy cooperation with Australia. The two countries will promote stable supply and supply chain cooperation for LNG and diesel, and establish a system for mutual notification and consultation in case of supply disruptions. Australia is a major LNG supplier to South Korea and a supplier of naphtha for the petrochemical industry.
