Iraq says oil output can return to normal within days of Strait of Hormuz reopening

Iraq stated it could return to normal oil production and exports within seven days after the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz subsides. Currently producing 1.5 million barrels per day and exporting 200,000 barrels daily through Turkey, the country is considering deploying additional tankers. This effort could contribute to mitigating geopolitical risks related to the US-Iran conflict.
