US ‘falsely portrayed’ Iran’s enriched uranium as danger to invade country: Envoy

The Iranian ambassador stated that the United States falsely portrayed Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities as a threat to justify military aggression. He highlighted attacks on Iranian civilian infrastructure and the assassination of Iranian officials, in response to which Iran retaliated with strikes against American and Israeli targets. The envoy criticized the UN Security Council and IAEA for their inaction regarding the Minab tragedy.
